Dr. Joshua Sheridan is a native of Fort Myers, Florida.
He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy from Duke University. After a season spent as a musher, driving teams of sled dogs, he discovered his true calling, and decided to become a veterinarian in order to help the animals whom he had come to love. He earned his Doctorate from Purdue University, focusing exclusively on small animal medicine.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Sheridan secured a coveted surgical and internal medicine internship at VCA West LA, one of the largest and most advanced multispecialty centers in the US. He spent several years in the Los Angeles area, working in general practice and emergency medicine, before settling in Colorado.
Dr. Sheridan has a special interest in diagnostics, cardiology and orthopedics. He most enjoys helping animals with chronic illnesses and injuries stay healthy and active, with an eye on maintaining and optimizing their quality of life throughout their senior years.
